When you decide to start with Google AdSense there are 2 things you will need.
Sign up for an AdSense Account Have a Place to Advertise (Website or Blog)
Both these steps are very easy and only take a few minutes.
We will start with the AdSense Account Sign up. The Account Sign Up can be completed by visiting the AdSense Website at AdSense.com This is where you will initially sign up and from then on monitor your account.
The AdSense Account Sign Up can be done by clicking the Sign up now bar to the right of the screen. This is where you will enter you blog(s) and/or Websites and all other relevant information. For US and some other Countries Google may also ask for tax information.
That wasn't hard was it? Now that we've got that out of the way you can get started using Google AdSense.
At this point I am going to suggest using Blogger at blogger.com if you are just starting out and have no website. The Blogger Account sign up is free and very easy. The reason I like to use blogger is that it already incorporates Google AdSense and it can be easily added to your blog at the click of the mouse.
Ok, now you have created a blog, those with websites should also take part in this blog creation as we can later direct it to your main site. Good content is key when using AdSense. You want people to have reason to visit your site because face it, you are competing with the world!
You will need a good 5-10 posts to start with in order to get noticed by the search engines as you will learn later on. Once the content is there I usually would wait about a week before jamming AdSense Ads all over the place. You don't want you blog to look like it was made for the sole purpose of making money. In the beginning I had a lot of blogs banned because of that, so learn by my mistakes.
Let's say a week has gone by and now it's time to ad Google AdSense to our Blog. What you need to do is click on the layout tab and click on any one of the " Ad Gadget" signs on the screen. Once you have done this and scroll down a bit you will see "AdSense" this is where you can pick your size and template that you want for your blog. Please note also once this is done you can actually drag the Gadgets in to different positions on the screen for example you can take AdSense from the side and put it in the header position.
Great, You've completed the AdSense Account Sign Up and Started a Blog!
